Licensing
Rights & Permissions
We license translation, subsidiary and reprint rights across our list, and we answer classroom and review requests quickly.
Translation and territory rights
World rights to most titles are held by Levine House Press. To enquire about translation or territory rights, include the title, the language and territory, your imprint, your proposed print run and format, and your intended publication window.
Reprint and excerpt permissions
For anthologies, textbooks, periodicals or online reproduction, tell us the exact material (page range or puzzle numbers), where it will appear, the print run or expected audience, the territory, and how long you need the licence to run.
Classroom, library and non-profit use
Teachers and librarians may reproduce up to two pages of an activity or puzzle title for a single class or session without a fee, provided the title and publisher are credited. Anything beyond that needs a short written request.
Media, review and cover images
Reviewers and booksellers may use our cover images at any size in connection with a review or listing. Send a media inquiry for review copies and press materials.
Audio, film and merchandising
Dramatic, audio and merchandising rights are handled case by case. Send an outline of the proposed use and we will route it to the right desk.
How to send a request
Use the contact form and choose “Rights & Permissions”, or email rights@levinehousepress.com directly. Requests are usually answered within two weeks; complex territory questions can take longer.
